  1. Nevermind. It looks like there was an issue with running it from my server versus a normal pc.
  2. Sometimes ;-) If I choose inner/outertext as the attribute, it works fine. But, if I chose inner/outerhtml, it doesn't work. Tom
  3. Very odd, but the scraping works when I access gmail at http://m.gmail.com. The scraping of the password works fine there. Unfortunately for the emails in question, the hyperlinks in the email aren't coming through at m.gmail.com (which I need also).
  4. Hi everyone, I've made quite a few bots over the past few months, but never had to scrape text until now. For this bot, i need to scrape default passwords in gmail. For whatever reason, every single time I do a $page scrape, I get an ubot error that it can't set the variable. I have even tested this by picking something stupid in the email, like the word "the", and I still get that error. But, when I use the same format outside of gmail, it works fine. For instance, just to test the scraping, I did a bot to scrape a couple of words in the middle of a wikipedia article, and it seemed
  5. There is certainly an easy way but I don't know off the top of my head as I never have to do it. I remember seeing it in one of the great ubot instructional videos on vimeo.com (just search for ubot).
  6. Used it today (the 50-60% success ratio is for the last maybe 300 captchas today). I send it the good old fashioned ubot way. I (1) use decaptcher chosen captcher, and then (2) then change the chosen attribute of the captcha input spot to the $captcha variable. Pretty straightforward to setup. P.S. No subwindows or anything. The sending and receiving works fine with my setup, I think decaptcher just s*cks ;-) That being said, if you are having issues with getting the decaptcher integration working at all, I would be happy to post ubot code for the decaptcher sub from my latest bot. Tom
  7. My success rate on decaptcher is about 50-60% on the "easy type" captchas. You know, all upper case no crazy background, etc. The type that I would get 99.9% correct on my own. Not timeouts, just wrong answers (always gives results back like sadff, etc.). Pretty sweet :-(
  8. Straight from the horse's mouth (UBot Commando Guide): "Search Page: This is a qualifier that will return true if the specified text is present on the page." So, using the search as a method to evaluate and return a true value works fine. Tom
  9. You are a man among boys Aaron. Thank you so very much. Tom Goodwin
  10. Hi everyone, I've only have ubot for about a week now, but have been experimenting with it and creating bots with all of the great info around here, in the ubottutorials and on vimeo. Unfortunately, I hit a stumbling block. I am trying to build a bot that will identify when a signature includes links with the nofollow tag. The plan is to save the current URL if the nofollow tag exists. The issue is that the particular pages in question, have mulitiple instances of the nofollow tag. They nofollow things like the register button, the search button, etc., which I don't care about. Here i
  11. Very odd. I'm running IE7, and it checked the box perfectly for me using your code above on my bluehost cpanel (x3) (choose by attribute/name/archivelogs/exactmatch --> change chosen attribute/checked/True). One other thing to try is to choose by position, and see if that works. choose by position/INPUT/0 change chosen attribute/checked/True Also worked for me. Tom
  12. Thanks a lot. I came here looking for this exact thing and Voila :-)
