Hey, I have no idea what email I used to signup for ubot years ago, but was wanting to install it on my new computer. Any way to get around this so I can access what I purchased long ago?

Hey John, sorry it's taken me a while to get back here - reformat and all that... ::woot:: So, I'm using Cox Broadband Cable, rocking wireless through a netgear router. No problems when I go there with firefox, so I tried using firefox as a user agent - but ubot still wouldn't get the captcha. Not sure what the dilly is... I use CCleaner, I clear all history and cookies all the dang time manually also. - I even release, & renew my ip religiously... Then for good measure, I also /flushdns. Any ideas?

*bump* still need help.

nope, it's definetely ubot. not sure whats going on, i can login with one of my proxies using firefox, or IE, and the captcha shows up. try the same proxy using the same UA in ubot, or no UA in ubot, and the captcha simply never shows...

did that. even with proxies, it does the same.. maybe it was just google being slow to respond that day? hmm... checking now.

In ubot, no matter what user agent I'm using, it will not show up - thus limiting my ability to create a new account. Can somebody please help me on this one? Step by step, not just the method by which to do it... Appreciate it! Thanks! https://identi.ca/main/register identibot.ubot

i got well past that point, but thanks for trying to help Praney. in fact, i solved the problem i originally had also, it did have to do with the user agent. ah well, on to my next questions... =) 1. How can I delete the data in a text box using ubot? (or can I?) if not, perhaps this would be a good feature. (Situation): When you are filling out the data for creating a yahoo email, if the captcha is entered incorrectly (or even sometimes correctly) it will make you redo it, but it also fills your 'password' boxes with a bunch of encrypted characters. As a loop, I'm interested in going ba

Hey Guys, I got the bug that's attached here. But also, I've created a bot that successfully goes through the whole process for a yahoo email account creation, but when it clicks the "Create My Account" button at the bottom, it just takes the browser to Yahoo.com without creating the account.... Any ideas?
