and it is very simple. i want to upload files from my computer. I have see that some people know how to add files and upload them without needing pop up window.

By using change attributes. But to be honest i dont know what attribute to change.

Hi John, I have noticed that you are EXCEEDINGLY helpful not only on this forum but all over the web and wanted to thank you for all your support for Ubot.

I am trying to upload images to a site as well but the file you posted in this thread goes to "forbidden". Is it just because I'm a newer member? I imagine so but can you put some steps for me to follow until I hit my post requirement to view attachments.

Here's what I'm trying to do... (Actually Two Things)

1. Site requires you to press a button in order to upload an image to your classifieds ad posting.

a. Click button with ubot

b. window pops up showing your C:\user... so you can pick an image from a location on your computer

Problem is: I'm obviously a beginner because I can't figure out how to make ubot randomly pick an image or a set image from a folder on my computer and use it for the image. Seems as soon as that window pops up, it disables ubot completely, arghhhh. HELP!


2. The site also has a section where a text description is required.

a. Click box with ubot

b. input text

c. Now I need to make some of the text a hyperlink to the site where the product is located

d. don't know how to highlight/select text (highlight as in left click the mouse and drag cursor over the text you want to select)

e. Same problem for making text bold

* also, is there a copy and paste function for ubot??
