jpeter 1
Do you know how could I set the Content-Type parameter to for instance application/json when sending GET requests with socket container/socket navigate, etc. commands? The problem is that the server I would like to communicate with, throws an error if Content-Type is not properly defined in the HTTP header.I could not see this option at socket set header command, but is there any workaround for this problem?I would appreciate any suggestions, thanks! JohnnyFive 4
There has got to be a better solution to this. Why isn't Content-Type supported by `socket set header`, or why can we not define the header name manually like with `set header`? I can't think of any good reason setting socket headers by name isn't supported. Edited March 28, 2016 by JohnnyFive

Like everything in development it's a question of resources, priorization and roadmap. :-)A lot of stuff makes sense, but it's not in the product for different reasons. I'm a software developer myself and get lot's of emails with requests. Very often people think the feature they are asking for is very important, but honestly.. 80% of the time.. they are the only ones who are missing it. So yes, I totally agree it would make sense. As a lot of other stuff would make sense to add to the product. Http Plugin is your best bet at the moment. You can add your idea to the ubot tracker as well, but I wouldn't expect an update very soon. The Ubot Socks feature isn't that famous in my oppinion. Just my 2 cents.
