batibot 0
Not sure if this was asked before but I wonder what engine Ubot is using for its internal browser? Is it IE?, Webkit? or similar to what Firefox is using? And most importantly, is there a way that we can instruct Ubot to use our preferred browser as its internal browser? UBotDev 276
Both UBot v4 and UBot v5 use browser named Chromium. v3 for example used IE. And no, there is no way to choose browser, you can only change UserAgent.
Edward_2 85
Here is some good info on chrome. Webkit css works well with this browser. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chromium is the open-source web browser project from which Google Chrome draws its source code. The Chromium Project takes its name from the element chromium, the metal from which chrome plating is made.[4] Google's intention, as expressed in the developer documentation, was that Chromium would be the name of the open-source project and that the final product name would be Chrome;[5] however other developers have taken the Chromium code and released versions under the Chromium name. These are listed under community packages. One of the major aims of the project is for Chrome to be a tabbed window manager, or shell for the web, as opposed to it being a traditional browser application. The application is designed to have a minimalist user interface. The developers state that it "should feel lightweight (cognitively and physically) and fast".[6] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_web_browser
