Bot unresponsive on other machines

Recommended Posts

Anyone experiencing same bot run very slow on other machines? It's very unresponsive but on some machine that have the same specs it run smoothly.

I have them make sure all the windows update and framework 4.5 are installed.
Also run as administrator.

Maybe someone already tackle this issue.

I just sent $1k refund today for several customers because of this issue. And there will be more if i cant figure this out..

Kreatus (Ubot Ninja),

Given the machines, OS, updates and .NET are the same. I would look at Antivirus program and Firewall next because these two could be blocking the BOTs actions.

If Antivirus and Firewall are eliminated as the problem then next I would find out the Internet provider of each machine with the problem and try to research what they might be blocking with their routers and firewalls.

If the Internet providers are not the problem then I would look at the destination website to see if I could determine if they are blocking in some way. The problem here is they may not be very helpful.

Good luck with your quest. It sounds like a lot of money is at risk.

I actually have done all of that.. I also tried to mimic their specs on a VMWare but i cant replicate the same issue that they are having on a fresh windows install. It just happens to several customers which i cant find the pattern.

I will retry to have a teamviewer session with one of my customer and disable all the startup applications and see if that makes any difference.

Yes. I lost $xx,xxx already since my first big bot years ago due to the same issue. Until now i am still clueless on how to fix it.

When ubot5 first announced I have high hope that this will be fixed but that hope fades away over time. But still hoping for the version 5.5. lol

.

Anything to say pash? Maybe you have a workaround to this. :)

For what I've found Making slow bots

- Older hardware Even though your computer is working perfectly. But it is not ideal for applications such as Ubot Studio.

- A bot too big. Sometimes I need a function to bot my lot. But it may be a problem now. If it's too big (This relates to Older hardware).

- Additional software installation is complete. Or an older version or a Bug. Problem analysis difficult. It should use the same model that works well on your machine.

- Interfering with other programs such as Antivirus / Firewall and more. Program Antivirus will follow the program. Ubot and makes the Ubot slow down, if possible, to exempt the Ubot.

- To use the machine for a long time without shutdown. On the computer for a long time. It will slow down.

- Using a "web browser" Ubot lot of bots is the reason for the slow down. To turn off flash / javascript Little impact

Try collect specification machine in question. And specifications of the machine works great. Some may find the same. Of what is causing the problem

Just finished having a teamviewer session with my 2 customers. Another potential refunds unfortunately.

I noticed that the CPU usage spiked when I start up the bot.

I think ubot4 cant handle big bots.

These are the screenshots from my customers computer when i load the bot.

Windows 8.1

Windows 7

Both have 4gig ram and i3 processor.

The CPU usage spike didnt go back to normal that's why the bot runs very slow. (Not sure why)

The good news: I tried to compile the same bot with the new ubot5.5 version and there's an improvement with the responsiveness of the bot. There are still bugs on that version so i cant release it to my customers but if seth can polish  all the bugs on 5.5 then this issue will be resolve.

Is UBOT version 5.5 available or only version 5?

Spoke too soon.. It still slow on version 5.5 if you have a massive lines of codes on your bot.

Got multiple refunds this week because of this.. sigh.

One thing i noticed is all of them are notebook/laptop users.

I suspect it's the high CPU usage of ubot that's causing the slowness.

Seth, please do something about this.. Dont want to chop my huge bots into multiple compiled bots.

+1

Yes it's true. And even the onload command is much slower. Unfortunately Ubot 5 is still not ready for production (I have bigger bots myself).
