Recovering vanished UI Editor Content...

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm sure someone has had the same problems with the UI Editor as I.

Well, I have about  4 UI editors I'm working with, on the last one

I created upon clicking the generating UI html command button

it went back to main screen and the UI editor was blank.

Now when I open UI it's totally blank despite the fact that I have

4 UI nodes still sitting there.

Any miracles with this or just trash it and start from scratch? Any

suggestions would be great. Hoping to salvage 5 hours worth of work.

Wize

if you contact ubot support they will restore it back to generic ui elements. If you have pro you can just copy the code to a new bot. If you want you can contact me on skype: easyseohub and i will do it for u

Sorry to report the copying of the code does not always work - the UI Editor might still not generate your code AND/OR the next time you open the Editor - it may be blank.

I thought of a solution - in this post: http://www.ubotstudio.com/forum/index.php?/topic/16776-ui-editor/

Now, if we could only get Ubot Studio to add this to the editor.

Please keep in mind that once you generate the code in the UI HTML, the editing switches from the UI Editor to the UI HTML.

The UI editor cannot generate your customized edits within it: http://wiki.ubotstudio.com/wiki/The_UI_Editor

Let us know at support if you have any questions about the editor.

Yes. That is the problem, as shown in the first post, when the editing switches sometimes the code either doesn't transfer to back to the UI HTML or it just shows the word "True" where the HTML should be.

If Ubot Studio could just change the source code of the UI editor to show the HTML in the editor then we could cut-and-paste the code and not worry about losing it when the editing switches. See my post entitled UI Editor yesterday.
